The FCM Skylight is a brilliantly simple and cost-effective solution for introducing natural daylight into buildings with flat roofs. It features high-performance double glazing that provides excellent thermal insulation and has been tested for hail resistance. Unlike acrylic or polycarbonate, the laminated glass will not fade or discolor over time. The smooth exterior design offers a lower profile on the roof, and the standard high-performance double glazing is equipped with a NEAT™ outer coating to reduce cleaning frequency. The skylight blocks approximately 99% of UV rays and is available in 14 sizes. It requires custom-made flashing, which is not supplied by VELUX, and most sizes can be installed in portrait, landscape, or even “diamond shape” orientations for versatile positioning.
