ABOUT DAMPFIX® PLATINUM

Dampfix® Platinum is an all-in-one waterproofing membrane designed for versatility and ease of use in various applications. Suitable for both internal and external environments, this UV-stable membrane is BRANZ certified and classified as Class 3, offering high elasticity for superior performance.

One of its standout features is its rapid drying time, allowing for recoating in just 1-2 hours at 22°C and 50% relative humidity. After 24 hours under the same conditions, it can be flood tested, ensuring reliable waterproofing. In non-critical areas, tiling can commence just 4-6 hours after application, making it a practical choice for time-sensitive projects.

Dampfix® Platinum is fully compatible with Bostik tile adhesive systems, providing excellent adhesion to a variety of substrates, including concrete, rendered masonry, wet area plasterboard, fiber cement sheets, and plywood. Additionally, it can be applied to damp surfaces, as long as there is no free-standing water, enhancing its usability in different conditions.
