The G2500N Over Fascia Vent is a practical and cost-efficient solution designed for ventilating eaves in buildings with or without soffits. It ensures superior performance and exceeds compliance with the National Construction Code 2022 Vol 1: F8D5 and ABCB Housing Provisions Standard 10.8.3.
Compatible with both Concrete Tile and Colorbond roofs, the G2500N is suitable for new builds and re-roofing projects, offering versatile application based on the pitch and roof design. Its evenly spaced openings allow optimal airflow while preventing large insect intrusion and capillary action. The product’s free open area exceeds NCC requirements, ensuring effective ventilation even with applied BAL mesh.
Designed with fire safety in mind, the G2500N can be fitted with an ember guard made from non-combustible, corrosion-resistant materials like steel or aluminium mesh. The mesh aperture adheres to Clause 3.6 of AS3859:2018, ensuring compliance for use in bushfire-prone areas. The vent is also tested to AS1530.3, providing a flame index of 5 and a smoke-developed index of 6.
VENT Systems specializes in delivering comprehensive ventilation and moisture management solutions. For optimal results, always consult building certifiers, fire engineers, or bushfire consultants to ensure compliance with NCC standards and local regulations.
