The VB20 Ventilation & Drainage Batten from VENT Systems is an advanced polypropylene batten engineered to support passive airflow and cavity drainage in roofing and wall systems. Designed specifically for skillion, cathedral, and trussed roofs, the VB20 ensures uninterrupted airflow above roof battens, even when insulation is present. This prevents moisture accumulation in low-velocity air zones, safeguarding the structure against condensation and related damage.
The VB20 creates a 20mm separation gap between the Colorbond roof and the vapour-permeable membrane, effectively preventing dew point transfer. It also establishes a ventilation and drainage cavity behind lightweight wall claddings, making it versatile for both residential and commercial applications.
