The VB10 Ventilation & Drainage Batten from VENT Systems is a high-performance polypropylene batten designed to improve airflow and drainage in roofing and wall systems. Ideal for use with Colorbond roof cladding and lightweight wall claddings, the VB10 ensures a 10mm separation gap between the vapour-permeable membrane and the cladding. This separation prevents dew point transference, promoting ventilation and cavity drainage to protect building integrity.

The VB10 excels in both residential and commercial applications, offering the following specifications:

Compression Strength: 1,320 Kpa, exceeding Australian standards for durability and performance.
Vent Size: 4mm vents to prevent insect ingress while allowing airflow.
Passive Airflow: Delivers 7,250mm² per linear meter for effective ventilation.
Length: Manufactured in 1800mm lengths for convenient handling and installation.
Material: Made from high-quality polypropylene for lightweight, robust construction.
Fire Testing: Compliant with AS1530.3 standards, featuring a spread of flame index of 6 and a smoke-developed index of 2.
