Roof Protect High Build Platinum Primer is crafted from a blended styrene acrylic to ensure maximum adhesion. With a high solids content of fillers and pigments, this primer effectively covers and fills imperfections in concrete roof tiles. Its superior high-build properties create a robust barrier, enhancing the tile surface while blocking previous colors and preventing calcium salt absorption from the concrete. Priming: One coat of primer will be applied to ensure optimal adhesion of the coating.
Coating: Two coats of Roof Protect roof coating will be evenly applied using airless spray equipment to achieve the correct thickness.
Finishing Touches: After the coating is applied, any necessary finishing details, like painting trim and flashing or adding anti-slip features to walkways, will be completed.
Warranty Information
The product warranty from Industrial Roof Coatings guarantees that Roof Protect will perform as expected for a specified period after application. Warranty terms may vary based on the final product used. Generally, the warranty covers defects such as premature cracking, peeling, and issues with adhesion. However, it does not cover damage from external factors like storms, improper installation, animal or chemical damage, or neglect. Previously painted roofs are excluded, as Roof Protect would adhere to the existing paint rather than the roof surface.
